ZAGREB ZAGREB, Oct 12 (Hina) - Polish conductor Michal Dworzynski is the winner of the third international competition of young conductors "Lovro pl. Matacic" which ended in Zagreb's Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall on Saturday
evening.

Dworzynski won a EUR5,000 award. Bulgaria's Dian Tchobanov won
second prize, a EUR3,000 award, while the Czech Republic's Jakob
Hrus came third, winning EUR1,500.
The competition included 14 candidates who were accompanied by the
Zagreb Philharmonic.
