ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) - The consumer basket of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH) shows that the minimum costs of a four-member family in September increased by 45 kuna in comparison to August.
ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) - The consumer basket of the Federation of
Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH) shows that the minimum
costs of a four-member family in September increased by 45 kuna in
comparison to August. #L#
The average costs of food, housing, transport, hygiene, clothing,
education and entertainment in September totalled 5,159 kuna
(approx. 681 euros).
Food accounted for 35 percent of the expenses, housing for 29,
education and entertainment for 12, clothing for 10 and transport
and hygiene for nine and 4.5 percent of the expenses.
The average net salary in July totalled 3,981 kuna (525 euros),
covering 77 percent of the living costs of an average family.
