ZAGREB, Oct 7 (Hina) - Painter Antun Metes of the Croatian True Revival (HIP) party and Miljenko Balakovic of the Democratic Centre (DC) have joined the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP). HSP president Anto Djapic presented the two new
members at a news conference on Tuesday.

Revival (HIP) party and Miljenko Balakovic of the Democratic Centre
(DC) have joined the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP). HSP president
Anto Djapic presented the two new members at a news conference on

Djapic said that many from other parties "are knocking on the HSP's
door because the party is opened to competent and expert people". He
said that some important people from other parties would join the
HSP in the near future, but would not speak in detail.
He also commented on the visit of ICTY chief prosecutor Carla Del
Ponte to Zagreb, saying "it is sad that Croatia is in a flutter over
the arrival of a European clerk".
Djapic is confident that Croatia's joining the EU would not depend
on Del Ponte's report to the UN Security Council.
