HIP PARTY: HDZ'S POLICY BAD, COALITION DIDN'T KEEP PROMISES

ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - Dario Vukic, head of the Croatian True Revival (HIP) club of parliamentary deputies said on Friday that the current policy of the Croatian Democratic Union's leadership was not good because it was not offering any solutions to citizens. #L# The ruling coalition has failed to keep its promises and resolve the problem of unemployment, HIP representatives said at a press conference. Vukic dismissed the possibility of the HIP forming a coalition with the HDZ at any cost, should the electoral victory of a right-wing coalition become questionable. The HIP and the HDZ will only form a post-election coalition if they manage to come to an agreement over their platforms, Vukic said. The HIP's campaign will be based on programmes that are vitally significant for Croatia's development, and one of these is resolving the problem of unemployment. HIP MP Djuro Njavro warned about the high trade deficit, with imports totalling some five billion dollars. (hina) sp rml
