ZADAR, Sept 21 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian True Revival (HIP), Miroslav Tudjman, said in Zadar on Sunday he expected his party's coalition with the Croatian Bloc (HB) to win 17-20 percent of the vote at coming parliamentary elections. #L# Responding to reporters' questions about the government's latest moves in connection with Ante Gotovina, the fugitive general wanted by the Hague war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Tudjman said the latest steps would have an adverse effect on national interests and Gotovina himself. Tudjman said the incumbent authorities had interrupted their predecessors' legal battle with the Hague tribunal's prosecution regarding the tribunal's jurisdiction over Operation Storm. "This government has consented to The Hague's jurisdiction and has also gambled away the chance to save General Gotovina which opened with new international interpretations of command responsibility," said Tudjman. Heading the HIP-HB slate in the ninth constituency (central and southern coast and hinterland) is Admiral Davorin Domazet, the only Homeland War senior officer heading a list of candidates in the country, said Tudjman.
