"The position that the Republic of Slovenia, as a country that has a
territorial access to open sea, is not an equal partner in decision
making, is not acceptable for us and such a position prevents equal
dialogue from the very start. Every unilateral move by Croatia
about proclaiming sea belts in the area which was a subject for an
agreement will mean prejudging a side delimitation at sea between
the two countries," read a statement issued by the Slovene Foreign
Ministry on Tuesday evening.
