Talking to reporters after parliament's presidency established the
agenda of the 37th, last session in the incumbent make-up, Tomcic
said parliament would be in session a minimum of four weeks before
dissolving.
The last session starts on Sept. 24 and it is certain that due to the
extensive agenda, MPs will have to work every day bar Sunday.
The agenda is comprised of 86 items but precedence will be given to
laws from the European package and to reports submitted by various
institutions, said Tomcic.
Bills put forward into first reading by MPs, even the government,
will probably not be passed due to lack of time.
A bill on the parliament security will be left for the next
parliamentary composition.
Tomcic stressed, however, that parliament would complete
everything of significance.
It has not been decided when MPs will debate the proclamation of an
economic zone in the Adriatic Sea.
Tomcic said he was aware that given the coming election, it would be
impossible to avoid pre-election campaigning during the session.
