ZAGREB, Sept 16 (Hina) - The company, called HRTL, consisting of the German RTL television house and Croatian companies -- Agrokor, Podravka, Atlantic Group, HVB/Splitska Bank and Pinta TV3 -- have been given a ten-year concession for
national television.

German RTL television house and Croatian companies -- Agrokor,
Podravka, Atlantic Group, HVB/Splitska Bank and Pinta TV3 -- have
been given a ten-year concession for national television. #L#
The HRTL was selected from seven candidates by the Croatian Radio
and Television Council, which opted for the HRTL's tender at its
session on Tuesday morning.
It was necessary for the selected concession-holder to muster five
out of nine votes from the said council. The HRTL managed to gain the
five votes in the second round of the voting, when it competed with
the TV Moslavina which got only two ballots. Another two ballots
were blank.
The concession for the third national channel of the Croatian
Television is granted for ten years. The annual fee is 300,000 kuna
plus 100,000 which should be paid for the use of this television
frequency channel.
