TOP CROATIAN OFFICIALS RECEIVE INDIAN MINISTER OF STATE

ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, Prime Minister Ivica Racan, Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, and parliament vice president Zdravko Tomac on Monday separately received Digvijay Singh, India's minister of state for external affairs.
ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, Prime Minister Ivica Racan, Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, and parliament vice president Zdravko Tomac on Monday separately received Digvijay Singh, India's minister of state for external affairs. #L# Mesic and Singh concluded that relations between the two countries were very good, and that efforts should be invested in advancing economic ties. Mesic acquainted the Indian minister with Croatia's integration into Euro-Atlantic structures. Both officials pointed to the need of eliminating every form as well as the roots of terrorism. Singh was accompanied by Indian Ambassador Kailash Lal Agrawal and the foreign minister's assistant for Central and East Europe, Iheze Himato Zhimomi. The same subjects were also discussed in talks with Racan and Picula. In the talks with the PM, Singh also said India was strongly fighting every form of violence. With Picula, he also discussed bilateral issues and the state of affairs in the two regions. Singh and Tomac discussed parliamentary cooperation.
