The parliament in Tirana described the document of the parliament
in Belgrade as the revival of a nationalistic policy.
"The adoption of such a declaration by the Albanian parliament is a
grave violation of and interference in the internal affairs of a
neighbouring country. It is an attempt to influence, namely to
destabilise the situation in the region, something Serbia-
Montenegro cannot allow," said an assistant to the foreign minister
of Serbia-Montenegro.
"Therefore we have forwarded the protest, having in mind that it
(the Albanian declaration) is contrary to the UN Security Council's
Resolution 1244 on Kosovo," Aleksandra Joksimovic was quoted by the
B92 radio as saying on Wednesday.
