have returned to the camp after temporary evacuation, the State Information Centre reported on Sunday.

Zivogosce - Blato and the Dole camp at Zivogosce near Makarska was
contained in the evening. Most tourists have returned to the camp
after temporary evacuation, the State Information Centre reported

The fire, which consumed some 40 hectares of pine forest and
underbrush, was fought by some 200 firefighters, who were assisted
by three firefighting planes and two air tractors.
The area caught by fire was left without power for several hours.
The road running along the Adriatic coast was closed for traffic for
about 2.5 hours.
Some 15 hectares of forest and underbrush were consumed in a fire
which broke out near Drnis in Sibenik-Knin County yesterday.
Firefighters yesterday contained a fire which broke out at Padjane
in the Knin area on Friday.
Four fires broke out in the areas of Umag and Pula in Istria County
yesterday. Some 20 hectares of oak forest and underbrush were
consumed in the fires, which were all contained.
