According to a statement issued by the Sarajevo Canton police, the
two arrested persons are Mustafa Hota aka Musa, born in 1971, and
Enes Sakraka, born in 1973. They were arrested in line with a
request by the cantonal prosecutor's office.
During the war the two were members of the Bosnian army's 9th
mountain brigade and there is founded suspicion that they were
involved in crimes against humanity committed in Grabovica on 8 and
9 September 1993.
The arrests were carried out with the consent of the Office of the
Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
The investigation of the case has been entrusted to the Sarajevo
canton court and prosecution.
The ICTY has also indicted the war-time Army Chief-of-Staff Sefer
Halilovic for the Grabovica crimes in line with command
responsibility.
Halilovic surrendered voluntarily to the ICTY, after which he was
released pending trial. He is now in Sarajevo.
Halilovic has always claimed that he is not responsible for the
massacre at Grabovica as at the time he did not have actual command
powers over the unit whose members participated in the massacre.
The commander of the brigade was Ramiz Delalic aka Celo, who has
been on the run for some time.
