ZAGREB, Aug 21 (Hina) - The Croatian government held a closed-door session on Thursday at which it adopted a plan of activities and deadlines for the preparation of answers to the European Union membership questionnaire, the
government's public relations office said in a statement.

The government also adopted a set of bills aimed at adjusting
Croatian legislation to EU regulations and a report on the
implementation of measures as part of the plan for the
implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.
The government had no objections to a report on the work of the
Commission for Securities in 2002, and also favourably assessed a
report on the execution of the financial plan of the Fund for
Regional Development for last year.
The government changed the system of tariffs for gas transport for
suppliers and privileged buyers.
It gave approval for interior ministry officials to join the OSCE
mission in the former Soviet republic of Georgia.
The government accepted the proposed candidacy of Croatia to host a
meeting of countries party to the Ottawa convention on the ban on
use, production and transfer of anti-personnel mines in Zagreb in
2005.
