The number of evictions carried out by Republika Srpska's ministry
for refugees and displaced persons significantly dropped as well,
while at the same time the number of delayed evictions increased
alarmingly, he said.
Under current circumstances it is difficult to believe the
ministry's announcement that all illegally occupied property would
be returned to their rightful owners by the end of the year, Sirko
said.
The head of the ministry's Banja Luka office, Miladin Djuranovic,
said a week ago that all 2,372 requests for the restitution of
property in Banja Luka would be settled by the end of the year.
Between 20 and 35 evictions are carried out every day and the
monthly average is 500 evictions, he said.
