The SFOR confirmed that a fire broke out on Wednesday while SFOR
troops were performing an exercise at a shooting range in a Mostar
neighbourhood, but it dismissed the possibility that the exercise
was linked to the spreading of fires on hills overlooking Mostar,
which is what some officials from the city's firefighting
department have claimed.
The government of the Croat-Muslim federation today granted some
50,000 euros of emergency funds for the purchase of reserve parts,
equipment and fuel for firefighting units in Herzegovina-Neretva
Canton.
