The president of the Istria County Firefighting Community, Dino
Lozlerac, said that owing to favourable weather conditions, the
firefighters, with the help of canaidair aircraft, managed to put
under control 80 percent of the fire-consumed area, while the
situation was still critical in the region of Mala Ucka, Sisola and
Prodola.
A part of the Ucka natural park is also on fire. A total of 250
firefighters are trying to put it out.
