The perpetrators also attempted to set fire to a Croatian flag
hoisted near the bust, but it was only slightly burned.
A police investigation is under way.
Blago Zadro was killed in October 1991. He was posthumously
promoted to the rank of major-general for his merits in the Homeland
War.
