The average consumer basket this month amounted to 7,000 kuna.
Living continued to be the most expensive on the island of Krk,
where the minimum costs of food, personal hygiene, clothing,
housing, transport, and entertainment stood at 7,196 kuna.
Bol on the island of Brac follows with 7,161 kuna, Osijek with
7,057, Split with 7,005, Rijeka with 6,941, Dubrovnik with 6,871
and Zagreb with 6,768 kuna
The highest percentage by which the average salary in July covered
living costs was recorded in Zagreb -- 57.5 percent.
The NHS's basket does not include the costs of education, health,
vacation, sports activities, necessities for new-born babies, or
personal vehicles.
