THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, July 18 (Hina) - The UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague has issued a subpoena ordering former Bosnian Serb prime minister Milorad Dodik to appear in the trial of Radoslav Brdjanin, the tribunal said in a statement
on Friday. Dodik is the leader of the Independent Social Democratic Party in the Serb entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina. He served as prime minister from January 1998 to January 2001, and was an independent member of the Bosnian Serb Assembly from 1991. Dodik was ordered to appear in court on July 31. Under the terms of the subpoena, failure to appear constitutes contempt pursuant to Article 77 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence.
