BANJA LUKA BANJA LUKA, July 18 (Hina)- The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Carla Del Ponte, arrived in Banja Luka on Friday where she will meet senior officials of the Bosnian Serb
entity to discuss cooperation with the UN war crimes tribunal.
BANJA LUKA, July 18 (Hina)- The Chief Prosecutor of the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Carla
Del Ponte, arrived in Banja Luka on Friday where she will meet
senior officials of the Bosnian Serb entity to discuss cooperation
with the UN war crimes tribunal. #L#
Del Ponte will hold talks with Republika Srpska President Dragan
Cavic, Parliament President Dragan Kalinic, Prime Minister Dragan
Mikerevic and Interior Minister Zoran Djeric.
She will also meet representatives of the camp inmates'
association, who said they would present the prosecutor with
evidence on the existence of camps for Serbs during the war in
Bosnia.
The government of the Republic of Srpska made a public appeal a day
before the arrival of the ICTY chief prosecutor to all war crimes
suspects to voluntarily surrender.
