Croatia asked several times in talks with officials from Serbia and
Montenego for that country's army to withdraw from the Croatian
border.
Taking over border crossings from the army is the Interior
Ministry's most expensive project for which Serbia needs
international aid, for example funds from the European Commission
CARDS programme, officials in Belgrade said.
