BELGRADE, July 7 (Hina) - A court in Belgrade has passed a ruling ordering the Republic of Serbia to pay seven refugees from Croatia 2,000 euros each for the mental anguish they suffered as a result of their forcible mobilisation in
August 1995, the Belgrade-based Centre for Humanitarian Law has reported.
BELGRADE, July 7 (Hina) - A court in Belgrade has passed a ruling
ordering the Republic of Serbia to pay seven refugees from Croatia
2,000 euros each for the mental anguish they suffered as a result of
their forcible mobilisation in August 1995, the Belgrade-based
Centre for Humanitarian Law has reported. #L#
Attorneys with this non-government organisation are representing
645 refugees from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina in proceedings
against the Republic of Serbia, seeking compensation for the damage
their clients suffered due to forced mobilisation. They also
represent the families of 64 people killed following their forcible
mobilisation.
