Stressing that one cannot but condemn the vandalism of fans at the
championships, Ozmec says the organisers of the event have failed
despite warnings by journalists and the Croatian Olympic
Committee.
"It is inadmissible, unimaginable and totally unjustifiable to let
almost 200 fans from Serbia and Montenegro sit in the VIP lodge,
where journalists were sitting, under the pretext of protecting
them," says Ozmec, adding that it was only thanks to luck that some
thirty journalists from Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and
Montenegro, Slovenia and some other countries avoided more serious
injuries.
