ZAGREB, July 7 (Hina) - Writer and playwright Ivo Bresan has won the award of the Miroslav Krleza Fund for his novel "Astaroth".
ZAGREB, July 7 (Hina) - Writer and playwright Ivo Bresan has won the
award of the Miroslav Krleza Fund for his novel "Astaroth". #L#
The award, consisting of a charter and 25,000 kuna (approx. 3,333
euros), was bestowed on Bresan on Monday at a ceremony organised in
the offices of the Croatian Writers Association (DHK) on the
occasion of the 110th anniversary of Krleza's birth.
This year's laureate and a DHK delegation laid flowers and lit a
candle at Krleza's grave at the Mirogoj cemetery before the award-
giving ceremony.
