HUP general director Zeljko Ivancevic said that this was an
important project in the sensitive area of public procurement. He
added that the Croatian state was a major investor, and that the HUP
wanted to help its members win procurement bids.
Briefing is a Croatian company that monitors all public bids
announced in official gazettes and national and local newspapers in
Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Serbia-Montenegro. It
collects more than 700 bids weekly and e-mails them to users on the
day they are announced. HUP members receive reports on public bids
at a 15% discount.
