of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jozo Ljiljanic, said.

in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina due to starvation and
illness because they do not have money to buy food and medicines,
the head of the Pensioners' Association of the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jozo Ljiljanic, said. #L#
Ljiljanic explained that the mortality rate among pensioners in
some areas of the Federation had increased by as much as 50 percent
due to poverty.
The situation in the other entity, Republika Srpska, is similar.
There are close to 500,000 pensioners in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
