ZAGREB, June 30 (Hina) - Some 400 pupils and high school students from 23 countries have gathered for the 2nd world students' conference "GLOBE Learning Expedition-GLE", which started in Sibenik on Monday.

The GLOBE programme, launched in 1994, envisages regular
measurements and observation of the atmosphere, water and soil in
school surroundings by students. The results are integrated into a
joint data base which is available on the Internet. The programme
includes more than 3,000 schools and 23,000 teachers.
