month-long event called the "June Dawn of Croat Herzegovina".

The event marked the 11th anniversary of the liberation of the
Neretva river valley from the former Yugoslav federation's army and
Serb troops.
The seven-metre-tall monument is the work of Kuzma Kovacic, also
the creator of Croatia's Altar of the Homeland.
