He spoke at a convention at which Ivan Kusalic was elected new
president of the party's youth.
Banac brought a broom, saying it was "liberal and necessary to the
LS and the entire Croatia "to clean up the way out of this unbearable
situation, to sweep away corruptionists and fake democrats, so that
we may enter the election campaign ready for major and unsoiled
ventures, to offer our citizens a way out of the domination of two
parasite blocs which are sucking out the strength and energy of our
youth and future".
"Their rule has to be swept away with our policy and our
engagement!" Banac said, saying LS' success and the pace of changes
in Croatia depended on the LS youth.
