"In Croatia there is already a fund for financing Croat minorities
outside the country," PM Racan said adding that Zagreb "will
earmark 25 million kuna to ethnic Croats in Serbia, Hungary,
Austria, Romania, Italy and also Slovakia".
During his two-day visit to Slovakia and after opening a Croatian-
Slovakian economy forum on Friday, the Croatian premier toured the
construction site of the Croatian Cultural Centre in the Slovakian
capital for which local Croats sought financial assistance.
"The sum is not sufficient for everything but it will be constant.
We shall make a decision in some 15 to 20 days' time and I shall
support the financing of the construction (of the Croatian
centre)," Racan said.
