"Ask those who are threatening with boycotts today, where were they
when they were in power and when they were deciding when elections
would be held? Did they consult anyone?" asked Mesic, adding this
was the rule that those responsible in authority decided about
election day.
Mesic spoke to the press in Pazin, where he visited the stone-
working company Kamen, a successful manufacturer and exporter
employing 339 people.
