Rajic has been accused of the killing of at least 16 Bosniak
civilians in the central Bosnian village of Stupni Do in October
1993, when he was commander of HVO's second operative group from
Kiseljak.
The tribunal issued the indictment in October 1995, but he was on
the run until this April, when he was apprehended in Split and taken
into custody in Zagreb.
Zagreb's county court approved Rajic's extradition to The Hague on
April 30. The decision was verified by the Supreme Court on June 9
after dismissing an appeal by his attorneys. Rajic was extradited
on Tuesday.
