ZAGREB, June 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday received Serbian Vice Premier Cedomir Jovanovic, with whom he spoke about the two countries' relations and their expectations on the road towards the EU.

whom he spoke about the two countries' relations and their

According to a press release by Mesic's office, the two officials
hailed the liberalisation of the visa regime and voiced expectation
that the two countries would continue to solve open issues.
In the light of the upcoming EU summit in Salonika, the two said they
expected the summit would confirm the further strengthening of
south-eastern European countries' prospects on the path towards
the EU.
They emphasised the importance of implementing reforms in each
country individually, as well as assumed international
obligations.
