ZAGREB ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - A book by Erhard Busek, entitled "Austria and Southeast Europe" (unofficial translation), was presented in Zagreb on Tuesday. The author, an expert on the situation in the said regions, breaks down in
his book prejudices about the region and describes the EU's relationship to it.

Austria's former Vice-Chancellor and special co-ordinator for the
Stability Pact said that he considered Croatia a central European
country and not part of Southeast Europe. Croatia is the link
between Central and Southeast Europe, Busek said and added that the
country's application for EU membership was logical and that
Austria would do everything to help it achieve that goal.
