The Albanian official said Kosovo representatives should
participate more in international and regional conferences, in
which they would enjoy Albania's support.
Tirana will not be the middleman in contacts between Pristina and
Belgrade. The two sides must solve contentious issues in direct
contacts, Pellumbi said.
Kosovo's president applauded the idea of Kosovo Albanians taking
part in international conferences. He reiterated it was too early
for Kosovo and Serbia-Montenegro to hold talks about Kosovo's final
status.
Rexhepi agreed with Rugova's stand, adding that talks on solving
problems and on cooperation could be held at lower levels of
authority.
