MOSTAR/SARAJEVO, May 20 (Hina) - A former president of the Bosnian Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Stjepan Kljujic, was appointed advisor to the Croat member of Bosnia's three-men presidency, HDZ's Dragan Covic, Covic's office
reported. Kljujic will be in charge of relations with the international community.
MOSTAR/SARAJEVO, May 20 (Hina) - A former president of the Bosnian
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Stjepan Kljujic, was appointed
advisor to the Croat member of Bosnia's three-men presidency, HDZ's
Dragan Covic, Covic's office reported. Kljujic will be in charge of

Kljujic left the post of HDZ president 11 years ago. He also left the
party because he disagreed with Croatia's policy towards Bosnia at
the time. Kljujic is believed to be one of the most consistent
adversaries of the idea of dividing Bosnia.
Political analysts in Bosnia are interpreting Kljujic's
appointment as Covic's advisor as an attempt by the HDZ to return to
its original, pre-war principles.
