PULA, May 16 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan and Istria County Prefect Ivan Jakovcic on Friday agreed on details on establishment of "Brijuni-Rivijera", which would be owned by the state and Istria County. The government
adopted the contract on setting up the company at yesterday's session.

"The purpose of the project is to spur the development of tourism in
and outside Istria and I believe it will be successful," Racan said,
adding that the government had committed to efficiently solve the
issue of military facilities in the area. The government is
determined to have facilities in tourist areas previously used by
the army be put in the service of development instead of the
military.
