ZADAR, May 14 (Hina) - More than 1,500 residents of Zadar on Wednesday signed a petition called "I'm Helping General Gotovina Free of Charge", which the county branch of the Croatian Bloc (HB) party organised in that coastal city's
main square.

The petition is a reaction to the interior ministry's recent offer
of a reward for information as to the whereabouts of Gotovina, an
indictee of the Hague war crimes tribunal.
The signing of the petition might be organised elsewhere in the
country as well, local HB officials said, adding the signatures
would be delivered to Interior Minister Sime Lucin.
