Of 54 countries that vote, 37 voted for Croatia's membership of the
Commission on Narcotic Drugs between 2004 and 2008.
The main criterion for membership is a regulated drug prevention
system. Croatia's membership of the Commission represents a step
towards the country's drawing closer to the EU.
