ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Amendments to the law on civil lawsuits will expedite the solving of labour disputes, so they should last no more than six months, while appeals processes should end within one month, Croatian Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic said at Monday's session of the Economic and Social Council.
ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Amendments to the law on civil lawsuits will expedite the solving of labour disputes, so they should last no more than six months, while appeals processes should end within one month, Croatian Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic said at Monday's session of the Economic and Social Council. #L# Anticevic Marinovic also presented to social partners draft laws on distress and bankruptcy, which are being prepared as part of the reform of the judiciary. The bills were supported by employers and unions since they should expedite court proceedings. According to data of the Office for Social Partnership, Croatian judiciary is currently burdened by 70,000 labour disputes. Deputy Premier Goran Granic said the government would on Wednesday bind competent ministries to prepare a dozen bills for the reform of labour and social legislation.
