The minister said in an interview with B92 that he had offered
China's trade minister the use of Serbian and Montenegrin airports,
the port of Bar and the Danube River "as the key points for the
expansion of (the Chinese) trade network and connections in the
Balkans and West Europe".
Svilanovic said his talks with officials in Beijing focused on
Serbia and Montenegro's sizeable debt to China, which he said was
obstructing the arrival of investors in Serbia and Montenegro and
the operation of Serbian-Montenegrin companies in China.
