investments. State companies' investments will this year reach the amount of 19 billion kuna, while over the past years they totalled three to four billion kuna, said Crkvenac.
KARLOVAC, April 18 (Hina) - Croatian Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac
on Friday held talks with business people from Karlovac, during
which he expressed satisfaction with a number of economic
indicators, including a 12% increase in investments.
State companies' investments will this year reach the amount of 19
billion kuna, while over the past years they totalled three to four
billion kuna, said Crkvenac. #L#
He added that the number of working employees who were not receiving
salaries had decreased from some 160,000 to around 30,000 in the
past three years.
The minister also said that three years ago barely 700 million kuna
had been invested in stimulating exports, while current investment
incentives totalled 2.5 billion kuna.
