Daci said Kosovo did not need the UNMIK administration but advice
from UNMIK experts. He said that leaving was not in the interest of
UNMIK diplomats because they had big salaries.
"My wage is smaller that the one of a cleaning lady in the office of
the UN Civil Administrator, Michael Steiner. The same applies for
the wages of Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova and Prime Minister
Bajram Rexhepi," Daci said.
He criticised Steiner for "empty promises regarding the
organisation of the situation in northern Kosovo".
The parliament head that criticism forwarded to the UNMIK did not
apply to NATO-led peacekeepers (KFOR).
