ZAGREB, April 21 (Hina) - Retired general Janko Bobetko, who has

clinic last Saturday to spend the Easter holidays with his family,

year-old's condition, said on Monday. #L#
Bobetko was granted permission to leave the hospital over Easter by
the doctor on duty, Bergovec told Hina.
He stressed Bobetko had not been released because his condition
remained grave and he was virtually unable to move.
"It is not unusual to allow grave patients to spend weekends or
holidays at home, but when Bobetko will return to hospital depends
on him," said Bergovec.
The retired general was hospitalised at Dubrava last November,
after his condition deteriorated. This February the U.N. war crimes
tribunal in The Hague abandoned its request for his extradition,
while earlier this month the tribunal suspended a warrant for his
arrest and surrender. He is charged with responsibility for crimes
committed in Operation Medak Pocket in 1993.
