RADICALS DENY THAT SESELJ WAS INVOLVED IN KILLINGS, KIDNAPS

BELGRADE, April 12 (Hina) - The Serbian Radical Party on Saturday dismissed claims that the party leader, ICTY indictee Vojislav Seselj, was involved in the planning and organising of killings and abductions in Serbia. #L# The party says in a statement that Seselj, who is currently at the ICTY's Schevening detention centre, is ready to talk about the accusations with a public prosecutor or investigating judge, on condition the interview is recorded. The Radicals also dismissed claims that Dusan Spasojevic Siptar, a recently killed leader of the "Zemun mobster clan", had financed the party. Several Serbian officials made such claims and the investigation so far -- according to official sources -- showed that the group which organised the assassination of Premier Djindjic on March 12, had contacts with people from the parties of a so-called patriotic bloc.
