of Europe yesterday.

"It is our orientation to see the independent Kosovo, integrated
into the European Union and NATO," said a spokesman for Kosovo
President Ibrahim Rugova, adding that the new state union could
freely go towards Europe but on that path, as he said, Serbia and
Montenegro had to abandon aspirations for the forcible return of
Kosovo within that state.
