Some 20 people close to Kostunica's DSS have been taken in by the
police, including Kostunica's advisor on security, Rade Bulatovic,
and a former head of the Yugoslav army's intelligence, Aleksandar
Tomic. As confirmed by other arrested persons, the two had met with
the heads of the "Zemun mobster clan" on a number of occasions, the
official said.
According to information available to the police, the cabinet of
former Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica contacted the Unit
for Special Operations, the so-called Red Berets, through Gradimir
Nalic, Kostunica's former advisor on human rights, today a lawyer
in Belgrade.
