"Brkic was arrested this morning and his friend informed the
editorial board of it," Jovanovic said last night adding that he had
no more details or data on the event.
Petrovic was taken by police on Friday night after police officers
searched his house and downloaded all the material from his
computer.
Jovanovic said that because of their fear for other reporters of the
newspaper, the Dan's editors had notified international
associations of journalists, organisations for human rights
protection and international diplomatic missions in Serbia and
Montenegro of the two arrests.
There was a ban on the appearance of Dan issues on the Serbian market
because of its coverage of the latest developments in Belgrade.
