Kajin told a news conference that the superior technology would be
used only for civilian purposes.
Nobody normal would bring in arms and the military industry into a
region in the process of demilitarisation, said Kajin. He added
that not one arms factory would leave its mother country because
weapons and military technology were sold at high prices on the
global market.
Kajin said that Istria could not develop only on its tourist and
catering offer. It needs highly sophisticated technology and
industry, he said.
