Jovanovic is the manager of the agency which publishes the daily.
The indictment against Jovanovic was confirmed by judge Carmel
Agius, who stated in his decision that witness K32 received death
threats after his identity had been revealed.
Judge Agius ordered the authorities of Serbia and Montenegro to
serve the indictment on Jovanovic in line with the tribunal's
practice and inform him of his legal obligation to accept the ICTY's
jurisdiction and arrive in The Hague for his trial, the date of
which the tribunal would determine at a later date and inform him of
it.
In case Jovanovic does not appear in court, the tribunal will issue
a warrant for his arrest and transfer.
This case is the first trial of a journalist or publisher who
disclosed the identity of a protected witness of the ICTY.
